Greystone Home Solutions specializes in the replacement and repairs of asphalt roofing shingles. Shingles are a critical component of a home protecting its structural integrity and aesthetic. Old roofing leads to poor condensation and deterioration from rot, mold and water damage. Our approach seeks remediation whenever possible, typically after wind, ice, water and debris damage. Putting off repairs carries long term risks of more serious issues. Complete replacement includes tear off, replacement of poor sheathing (when necessary), drip edge, underlayment and asphalt shingles. We highly recommend GAF products. Other manufacturers we carry include Atlas, CertainTeed, IKO, Malarkey, Owens, and TAMKO.
Egress Windows
The installation of an egress window is one of the best investments you as a homeowner can make. By taking this step, you can convert a basement room into a legal bedroom substantially increasing the value of your home. Other benefits include a safe means of escape in case of a fire and more natural lighting to the room. Greystone takes a minimally invasive approach to installing egress windows by hand digging, in turn, minimizing the disturbance to the existing landscape around the window well. We primarily and highly recommend the installations of slider windows however casement windows are an option. We offer metal and block windows wells. Our service includes complete removal of dirt and rock, cutting foundation, building frame from pressure treated lumber, installation of window with waterproofing systems, trim and interior finish. All windows are installed to industry standards and comply with local codes.
Interior and Exterior Remodeling
Interior remodeling we complete includes laminate, hardwood, tile, railing, window replacement, reframing, drywall, painting, staining and custom wood work. Exterior work we perform includes vinyl siding, lap siding, chimney removal, decks, shingle roofing and egress windows. The photo above is a custom home built by our family.
